Guess the iPhone mania has not died out yet despite the handset being around for two years already, with its latest iteration, the iPhone 3G S, being insufficient in number to fulfil the backlog of pre-orders on launch day. It seems that any pre-orders made on Saturday (June 13th) onwards won't be able to make the shipping date, but will arrive at retail locations one to two weeks after the order was made. It's magic to see the iPhone 3G S picking up so many orders despite not offering something really that different and revolutionary from its predecessor.
