Just when you thought YouTube was the site to keep you entertained passively with video after uploaded video, along comes an unearthing of a new Easter Egg, or rather, a hidden function of the site in the form of the classic video game “Snake″. This comes across as no surprise since Google delivered a playable version of Pac Man to commemorate its 30th anniversary earlier this year. For those who are bored with whatever they’re watching on YouTube at the moment, you can keep yourself occupied with Snake by holding down the Up arrow key for around a second, followed by pressing down the Left arrow key simultaneously. This can only be performed when a video is fully loaded and paused. When the game starts, you will have to move the snake around the video without crashing into the “wall″ of the video. Go ahead, give it a go!

Street Fighter and Tekken are two classic beat ‘em ups in the world of video gaming, although the former was around long before 3D gaming was possible. Well, good to know that there will be a future version that sees characters from both universes coming together, with Capcom targeting a release in two years. This Capcom-developed version will more or less come first, so those who are on Namco’s camp will have to wait longer for a Tekken vs Street Fighter edition. Both development teams might put in “early generation” characters, although character designs will be different depending on the creative input. You might want to start saving up for pristine new controllers now…

It seems that Sony will be taking a page out of Nintendo’s book with the announcement that future stereoscopic 3D titles on the PS3 will come with a 3D slider that allows one to adjust the depth of 3D displayed by the game, according to your own comfort level. This adjustment will be made via left analog stick, although the final mapping process has yet to be determined since developers might want to map it to a control stick instead, where a normal tilt will result in a changed 3D depth. Before 3D games really take off, you might want to invest in a 3D-capable TV first to catch the first wave.
