Users of Apple’s Magic Mouse might be frustrated if they find that they have to change the battery too often, and Mobee is looking to capitalize on that by coming up with the Mobee Magic Charger for Apple’s Magic Mouse. This charger is an inductive charger that consists of a mini-USB base station and a battery pack that fits nicely into Apple’s mouse. According to the specifications, on a full charge, it′ll be able to keep the Magic Mouse running for 6 days of constant use. An inductive charging mouse pad was originally considered, but they decided to reduce the footprint and keep it portable and inconspicuous, allowing users to use the surface of their choice. Expect to pay $49.90 for the Mobee Magic Charger when it ships worldwide in October.

It seems that Twitter has already begun to test push notifications internally for its iOS app. It isn’t immediately clear what notifications will be pushed, but it should at least offer real-time updates on DMs, replies, and perhaps specific tweets. Some random users have reportedly already got their hands on the new feature with the Twitter for iPad application which was recently released. A Twitter spokesperson has confirmed that they′re already testing push notifications internally, but states that it isn’t ready for prime time just yet, though they plan on rolling it out soon.

Apple’s latest iPod nano is cute, but it does run the risk of being lost in your backpack/purse. The built-in clip is a good way to fasten it to something, but Griffin aims to go one step further by offering the Wristlet casing, which is a one-piece wrist strap protective casing for the iPod nano. Its functionality should be self-explanatory, as it’ll do an adequate job of protecting your iPod nano from scratches while making it easy to find. The Griffin Wristlet will be retailing for $19.99 and is currently up for pre-order.

Twitter-addicts out there who own an iPad will probably be overjoyed to hear that Twitter has officially released Twitter for iPad, offering some interesting user interface (UI) tweaks that you probably haven’t seen before. Media viewing has been optimized for the iPad, and videos play in-line with other content, not to mention that it can be loaded while you’re busy browsing through your timeline. One of the more interesting interface tweaks is that when you pinch a tweet, you’ll be able to see details about the author and also have a list of actions that you can perform, such as replying and retweeting. A two-finger pull-down gesture will show the entire conversation around the tweet. If you have an iPad, give it a test drive and see the difference for yourself. [iTunes link]

The recently announced Apple TV have also had its fair share of scrutiny under the watchful eyes of the FCC, where newly published documents were revealed from the agency. While you won’t find any internal images or tear-down shots, a bunch of reports did confirm that the Apple TV will come with Bluetooth connectivity as well as dual-band WiFi (802.11 b/g/n at 2.4GHz and 802.11 a/n at 5GHz) support. No prizes for guessing where the label is supposed to end up though. The new iPod touch didn’t have its modesty covered by the FCC though.

It didn’t take too long for the people at the FCC to reveal intimate images of the new iPod touch, where those photos point towards Hynix being the flash memory manufacturer, but that is only on the 8GB model, considering the iPod touch can hit 64GB in terms of internal storage. Beside the Hynix memory module lies Apple’s A4 processor, where it does seem similar to the A4 that is found in the iPhone 4 and iPad where appearance and size are concerned, although to get a closer look at the markings will confirm or debunk that. Have you placed your pre-order already?

San-Francisco-based photographer Joey Celis decided to merge two iconic devices together visually, which would be skinning the iPhone to resemble the classic Leica M9 thanks to a custom sticker. Too bad this isn’t going to be manufactured on a large scale basis, which means you will not see it on store shelves anytime soon as Celis has iterated that this is just “a one-off for personal use.” Perhaps other people who have seen this idea would want to come up with different skins of their own. If you had a choice, which digital camera would you prefer to see as your smartphone’s skin?

The folks over at Opera had quite a tough time getting Opera Mini approved for Apple’s iOS, but they finally managed to get approval. With that in mind, we′re interested to see if SkyFire will encounter similar resistance, not to mention that SkyFire will indirectly support a good amount of the Flash video that’s available on the web. It’s worth noting that SkyFire doesn’t actually play Flash content on iOS, rather it uses a proxy to remotely convert Flash video into something that iOS supports, embedding said video content back for playback at the user’s request. That being said, this method means that while Flash video can be viewed, but Flash content such as games will not work. Apparently SkyFire are pretty confident that the browser will be approved quickly as it was developed with significant oversight and feedback from Apple, claiming to adhere to every guideline put forth by Apple regarding HTML5 video playback for iOS. Will the possibility of another browser for iOS be an interesting idea to you?
