SDXC memory card slot could see action in 32nm notebooks

Notebook manufacturers Dell, HP and Lenovo could soon release their new 32nm notebooks that run on mobile Core i3, i5 and i7 processors to be equipped with an SDXC memory card slot in order to keep up with the times, offering the option for such notebooks to recognize up to 2TB of data within while boasting phenomenal theoretical transfer speeds of up to 300MB per second. If you really need a notebook now, then we’re sorry you won’t be able to play the waiting game as such 32nm machines won’t be out until sometime next year.

Scruzol magnetic screwdriver

The Scruzol magnetic screwdriver ought to be on the Christmas wish list of those who love performing DIY procedures in their homes, as it boasts a powerful central magnet that is capable of holding up to 12 screw bits alongside a bit socket on both ends. This design allows it to function as a screwdriver and a power driver for an electric drill when the need arises, letting you “grab it or grip it”, depending on the situation.

Pedal-powered Christmas tree

The city of Copenhagen in Denmark will go green this year where Christmas celebrations are concerned, and we’re not talking about the color of its trees. In fact, their traditional Christmas tree set up at their City Hall Square will boast energy-efficient LED lights that are powered by people, where 15 bicycles are available for anyone and everyone to pedal in order to power all 700 LED bulbs dotted along the entire tree. Good way to keep warm in the freezing weather as well, eh?

Raving Smileys T-Shirt

The Raving Smileys T-Shirt pays homage to the T-Qualizer, as it also comes with an ultra sound sensor. Basically, this is the T-Qualizer with smileys in place instead, jumping and flashing in sync with the music being played at the moment. This is definitely not a shirt that you would chuck into the washing machine once you′re done soiling it, since you will need to remove the lightweight battery pack beforehand. $29.99 is the asking price for those who want to make an exclusive fashion statement to the masses when out partying.

You get a built-in DVD player (no Blu-ray yet), an integrated 1Seg TV tuner, a USB port and virtual 3D maps among others, where the highlight of the MDV-313 would be its high speed response time that is touted to improve the user experience by leaps and bounds. PSPgo sees lower £149 price point

Entertainment retailer HMV has recently slashed the price of the Sony PSPgo to £149, which is a huge chunk off the initial £224.99 back when the device was rolled out earlier this October. Could this be a prelude of (good) things to come for the consumer, seeing that the original asking price for the PSPgo borders somewhat on the ridiculous? Now when will someone across the Atlantic do the same for gamers on this side of the continent?

The Creative ZEN X-Fi2 has received a new firmware update in the form of version 1.10.04, where you get a much improved user interface which helps banish nightmares of its touchscreen experience prior to this. Apart from that, other improvements include a new color UI, better responsiveness, accelerometer support and the inclusion of a popular Sudoku game to keep you entertained cerebrally while you’re on the go. Could the Creative ZEN X-Fi2 finally be worth looking at with the new firmware update 1.10.04?
